K.R. Narayanan Foundation was set up in memory of the late former President of India, Dr. K.R. Narayanan. It came into being under the Charitable Societies Act. The Foundation is already involved in various social-cultural programes especially for the underprivileged.
The Foundation General Secretary Sri. Eby J. Jose has written a biography of the late president under the title -
' K.R. Narayanan Bharathathinte Suryathejassu '.
It is written in Malayalam, in the mother tongue of Dr. K.R. Narayanan. This book traces the not-so-rosy paths through which this great man had to travel.
About his life and its message K. R. Narayanan said :
"I see and understand both the symbolic as well as the substantive elements of my life.
